Apartments - Frequently Asked Questions
- What are the check-in and check-out times for the apartments?
Check-in can be done starting from 3:00 PM until 10:30 PM. Check-out must be done by 10:00 AM.
- Is it possible to leave luggage in a storage before check-in or after check-out?
You can leave your luggage in storage at the reception of the Hotel Nazionale, where you’ll check in, just a few steps from the apartments.
- Is early check-in or late check-out possible?
No, it is not possible.
- Is it possible to check-in after midnight?
Yes, but after 10:30 PM it won’t be possible to escort guests from the reception to the apartments. You will be given all the instructions to access the apartments.
- How much is the city tax?
The city tax requested by the City of Rome for the guests of our apartments Vicario Suites and Tic Tac Loft is €5 per person per night.
- Is there Wi-Fi in the apartments?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi. You just need to enter the password provided at check-in.
- Is it possible to have breakfast at the Hotel Nazionale?
Guests of the apartments can have breakfast at the Hotel Nazionale upon request at check-in. The cost is €15 per person, and breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
- Is it possible to have breakfast served in the apartment?
No, it is not available; however, you can request a Breakfast Welcome Pack during the reservation, which will be provided in the apartment kitchen on the day of your arrival. This service is for a fee. For more information about the Breakfast Welcome Pack, you can send an email to vicario@hn-apartments.it.
- How can the apartments be reached?
From Fiumicino Airport:
- By taxi: approximately €50.
- By Leonardo Express train, inside the airport, which departs every 30 minutes and takes 30 minutes to reach Termini station (ticket €14); from there, you can take a taxi (about €15) or bus no. 85.
From Ciampino Airport:
- By taxi: approximately €35.
- Is it possible to book a private transfer to or from Fiumicino or Ciampino airports?
On request, we can book a private transfer from the airport to the apartments or vice versa, at the following costs:
From Fiumicino or Ciampino airports to the apartments:
- €75 for up to 2 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €85– 4-passenger van).
- €85 for 3-4 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €95 – 6-passenger van).
- €95 for 6 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €110 – 8-passenger van).
From the apartments to Fiumicino or Ciampino airports:
- €65 for up to 2 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €75 – 4-passenger van).
- €75 for 3-4 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €90 – 6-passenger van).
- €95 for 6 passengers (if a lot of luggage, €110 – 8-passenger van).
- Is there parking available for the apartments?
The Hotel is located within a limited traffic area (ZTL) and we do not have parking. For these reasons, we do not recommend reaching us with a private car, however to park the car there are two possibilities:
PRIVATE GARAGE:
You could reach the hotel reception by your own car, but be advised that if the square is closed for institutional reasons, you cannot enter. Unfortunately we are advised of the closure on the same day: we suggest to call our reception (+39 06 695001) on the morning of your arrival. If the square is open, you will be given a special permit for passing through the electronic gates; you just need to provide your license plate number to the reception at check-in. The service costs €41 per day. Payment is made directly to the garage staff, who will issue a receipt or invoice.
PUBLIC GARAGE:
If the square is closed you can drive your car to the public garage, Via dei Ludovisi 60 (not in a restricted traffic area) – tel. +39 06 4740632, and leave your car there. From the garage, you can reach the apartments by taxi or on foot (about 15 minutes). The parking cost is about €15-18 per day, depending on the type of car.
- Is there a safe in the apartments?
Each bedroom in the apartments has an electronic safe with a numeric code.
- Is it possible to book tours/guided visits?
The reception staff at the Hotel Nazionale is available to suggest and book tours/guided visits in the city or outside Rome.
- Is it possible to get assistance with restaurant reservations?
The reception staff at the Hotel Nazionale is available to suggest and book typical or international restaurants.
- Are there supermarkets near the apartments?
In the entire Historic Center area around the apartments, there are several small chain supermarkets.
- Is it possible to rent bicycles or scooters near the apartments?
Throughout the Historic Center area, it’s easy to find bicycles and electric scooters available for rent via specific apps.
- Is there an elevator to reach the apartments?
The Tic Tac Loft is located on the 6th floor and can be reached by elevator. The Vicario Suites are on the 1st floor without an elevator. To reach the apartments, you need to go up two flights of stairs.
- Is it possible to request apartment cleaning?
Cleaning is not included during the stay, but upon request, we can arrange for the apartments to be cleaned. Alternatively, you can simply request a change of bathroom or bed linen. Each service comes with an additional fee.
- Are dogs allowed?
Small pets up to 10 kg are welcome. An extra fee will be charged for the final cleaning of the apartment. If you wish to stay with your pet, please inform us in advance by email at vicario@hn-apartments.it or call us at +39 06 695001.
