FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What are the check in and check out times?

Check-in can be done from 3:00 pm, however, in case of early arrival you can leave your luggage in our storage. Check-out must be done by 12:00 pm.

  • How much is the city tax?

The tourist tax required by 4-star hotels is €7.50 per person per night.

  • How can I cancel/modify a reservation?

  • What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served every day from 7:00 to 10:00 in the breakfast room on the ground floor.

  • How much does breakfast cost?

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

  • Is there parking available?

The Hotel is located within a limited traffic area (ZTL) and we do not have parking. For these reasons, we do not recommend reaching us with a private car, however we can suggest several solutions:

PRIVATE GARAGE

The private garage with which we have an agreement provides a service of collecting your car in front of the Hotel Nazionale on the day of arrival and returning it on the day of departure.

The service costs €41.00 per day; payment will be made directly to the garage employee who will issue a receipt or invoice.

If the square where the Hotel faces is closed for institutional reasons on the day of your arrival, you will not be allowed to access. Since the possible closure of the square is generally communicated to us only at the last moment, we recommend that you call the Hotel Reception (+39 06 695001) on the morning of your arrival to get information.

When the square is open, you will be given a special permit for having passed through the electronic gates; you will simply need to communicate your license plate number to the Hotel Reception when checking in. 

PUBLIC GARAGE

You can go independently to the Garage Ludovisi, located in VIA DEI LUDOVISI 60 (it is not in a limited traffic area) - tel. 06 4740632 and leave your car. From there you can reach the Apartments by taxi or on foot (about 15 minutes).

The cost of this parking solution is approximately € 15/18 per day, depending on the car.

  • How many rooms does the Hotel Nazionale have?

The Hotel Nazionale has 103 rooms: Classic/ Superior/ Executive and the Dolce Vita Suite.

  • Does the Hotel have connecting rooms?

The Hotel has a limited number of connecting rooms and we suggest you request them when booking.

  • Is there a luggage storage?

Yes, we have a luggage storage.

  • Until what time is the Reception open?

The Reception is open 24 hours a day. 

  • How can I reach the Hotel?

From Fiumicino Airport: by taxi from the airport, approximately €50. The Leonardo Express train, inside the airport, leaves every 30 minutes and takes 30 minutes to reach Termini station, ticket €14.

From Termini station, you can take a taxi (approximately €15) or bus no. 85.

From Ciampino Airport: by taxi: approximately €35.

  • Is it possible to book a private transfer to or from Fiumicino or Ciampino airports?

On request we can book a private transfer from the airport to the Hotel or vice versa, at the costs indicated below.

From Fiumicino or Ciampino airports to the Hotel:

  1. €75.00 up to 2 passengers (if many suitcases, €85.00 - van for 4)
  2. €85.00 for 3-4 passengers (if many suitcases, €95.00 - van for 6)
  3. €95.00 for 6 passengers (if many suitcases €110.00 - van for 8)

From the Hotel to Fiumicino or Ciampino airports:

  1. €65.00 up to 2 passengers (if many suitcases, €75.00 - van for 4)
  2. €75.00 for 3-4 passengers (if many suitcases, €90.00 - van for 6)
  3. €95.00 for 6 passengers. (if many suitcases €110.00 - van for 8)
  • What prevention and protection measures does the hotel have?

The hotel staff has received adequate training in compliance with hygiene and prevention guidelines. To ensure a safe stay we follow the most rigorous sanitization protocols. Each room is cleaned daily with the best quality products. After each guest's departure, the rooms are sanitized and ventilated.

Particular attention is paid to those areas that are often in contact with hands such as the remote control, the mini bar and the handles. The same attention is paid to the treatment of the air conditioning system filters. The linen is treated with careful antibacterial washing, packaging and transport processes.

  • Are dogs allowed?

Small pets, up to 10 kg, are welcome and an extra fee is charged for the final cleaning of the room. If you wish to stay with your pet, please inform us in advance at info@hotelnazionale.it or by calling us at +3906695001.

Please note that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room; It is also requested not to leave your four-legged friends alone in the rooms.

  • Are there cots/cribs available?

Yes, for children up to 2 years old we can add a cot at no additional cost. The availability of cots is limited and we ask you to request it in advance by sending an email to info@hotelnazionale.it.

  • Does the Hotel have a Concierge service?

The Concierge service is at your disposal to help you plan your visit: general information, reservations for museums, tours, restaurants, theaters, rental cars with or without a driver, bicycle rental, babysitting and many other services can be organized on request.   • Is there a safe in the room?

All rooms are equipped with an electronic safe with a numeric code.

  • Do you have special menus for celiacs?

A small selection of gluten-free products is available for breakfast on request. 

  • Is there Wi-Fi connection?

Yes, WI-FI is free and available in both the rooms and common areas. To use it, you just need to enter the password that will be given to you at Check-in. •

  • Are there non-smoking rooms?

Yes, there are non-smoking rooms; please make an explicit request in advance when booking. 

  • Is there an iron in the room?

For security reasons, it is not permitted to use the iron in the room, but upon request and for an additional fee, our staff can iron your clothes, otherwise there is a small ironing room located between the 5th and 6th floors at your disposal.

  • Do the rooms have a whirlpool tub?

Only a small number of Superior and Executive rooms have a whirlpool tub. Please make an explicit request in advance when booking.

  • Is it possible to book tours/guided visits?

The staff at the Hotel Nazionale reception is always available to suggest and book tours/guided visits in the city or outside Rome. 

  • Is it possible to receive assistance in booking restaurants?

The staff at the Reception of the Hotel Nazionale is always available to suggest and book typical or international restaurants.

  • Is it possible to rent bicycles or scooters near the Hotel?

Throughout the area of the Historic Center it is possible to find shared bicycles and electric scooters along the street, rentable with the appropriate apps.
